AST:ON,formerly known as Aston Martinez, is an experienced DJ, producer and music lover with

over three decades of passion for electronic music.

Fascinated by drum machines, synthesizers and the magic of music since his teenage years, he began his musical journey with his own productions and DJ sets at the age of 16. His first major appearance in 1991 at the legendary Stufenbau Bern –as a warm-up for DJ legends Jeff Mills and Richie Hawtin – marked the beginning of a remarkable career.

This was followed by numerous bookings at the most renowned clubs in Switzerland, such as Kaufleuten, Supermarket, D! Club and raves such as Energy at the Hallenstadion and the Casino de Montreux, as well as a long-standing residency at the Take 5 Club in Biel, where he shared the decks with DJ greats such as Masters At Work, Dave Lee, Kerri Chandler, Simon Dunmore and Mousse T., among others.

AST:ON,made a name for himself internationally with gigs at Ministry of Sound London, in Ibiza, Miami, Berlin, Moscow and Warsaw. At the same time, he released his own tracks and remixes on renowned labels such as Defected, Soulfuric, Madhouse, Glitterbox, Go Deeva and Ministry of Sound.

His sound has long been somewhere between classic and deep house. After a creative break, AST:ON,found new inspiration through artists such as Keinemusik, Themba and Andhim. His current style is driving, warm and emotional –a mix of Afro House, Organic & Melodic House and Deep House that takes the audience on a musical journey. What sets AST:ON,apart from many others is his keen sense of energy and drama. He knows how to reach people on the dance floor, regardless of their age or background.

For him, music is more than just a set: it is therapy, connection and joy.
